In a surprise announcement, Hollywood heartthrob Owen Wilson has announced that he is to become a father with the baby due "any day".
The news has stunned celebrity watchers, with many unaware Wilson was even dating.
The Starsky and Hutch star said that he was very excited about welcoming his first child with girlfriend Jade Buell, reported Us magazine online.
The 42-year-old star and Buell are currently in Hawaii, where she plans to give birth. A source told the magazine the baby was due any day now and said Wilson was very excited and involved with the pregnancy.
The couple are said to want to do everything as natural as possible.
Wilson has "been been doing research and learning as much as he can ahead of the birth."
"He's super into it and asks a lot of questions to make sure he knows what's going on every step of the way," the source added.
Wilson's previous girlfriends include actress Kate Hudson. With the end of their relationship four years ago he made a failed suicide bid.
Following Wilson's health troubles, the couple reconciled, but the relationship only lasted a few months.
